The organ DISEC in the building of UN dialogues about keeping guns out of space, keeping it as a peace space for all nations to collaborate and make research. Although many say it's a property that no one owns, nations talk about how it could be used as a battlefield.

As the world knows, wars have never changed between countries, whatsoever, their reasons and tactics change according to what benefits the troops and their generals. But something that has been asked: Can space be used as a battlefield for the next wars? That’s what the top global countries have spoken about in the debates inside of the UN, mainly in DISEC, where they shared their ideas and worries, in relation to the upcoming problems involved outside the atmosphere, once the necessary technology has been achieved.
Delegates spoke mainly of The Outer Space Treaty, signed in 1967, that establishes the prohibition of usage of weapons and nuclear arsenal outside the planet. With it, the USA according to this, mentions that:
“The outer space should be used in a passive way, in benefit of all the nations, as a
common resource, with the objective of cooperating around the globe”
To which Sudan and Kuwait’s embassies reply with also, making use of outer space in a way for scientific research and for the benefit of all countries, making it an all-peace area for the globe to use.
Still, the space can be used in a way to make war and threats between nations, or that’s what Germany mentions: Outer space could be used irresponsibly and in doubt, they won’t hesitate in defending their land with their SSI system. And to this, comes all the countries with their ideas in a way, to plan ways to keep outer space out of military activity, as South Africa mentions, ways and preventions to make space a safe area, to stop the militarization from expanding from the Earth, from it to go outside of our atmosphere. As France demonstrates its concern for global safety in correlation to the ideas shown at the debate, making the countries gather in motion for the security.
The nation of Saudi Arabia, alongside Germany, Kuwait, Spain, France, Luxembourg, Canada and Sierra Leone gather and speak of launching ASAT, anti-satellites in charge of dismantling the weaponry, launched to space with the objective of causing destruction. But also, this same satellite program threatens on how effective it could be, and on how it can leave behind remains of the other country’s satellites as well. To achieve the demilitarization using this “weapon”, referred to like this by Saudi Arabia, it could soon turn into a possible military race compared to the Cold War, and this due to nations trying to get outer space and claim that emptiness as theirs. Saudi Arabia closes this part of the debate with:
“It would be a Cold War in every sense of the word”
