Since 1962, AZMUN has been hosting one of the oldest high school Model United Nations conferences. It provides a unique opportunity for high school students to network and practice diplomacy with other students from around the US and Mexico. This conference takes place every spring in beautiful Tucson, Arizona.

About the Conference
Esteemed Guest Speaker(s)
AZMUN proudly hosts engaging guest speakers to present to attendees on various topics relating to diplomacy, international relations, and more.
Bilingual & Binational Conference
AZMUN is a fully binational and bilingual conference, one of a few of its kind for high school students. Half of our attendees join from the US, while the other half join from Mexico.
AZMUN provides live interpretation services during ceremonies; English, bilingual, and Spanish-language committees; cross-border networking opportunities; and more.
Opportunities for Awards
Delegates attending AZMUN are eligible to win awards for Best Delegate, Best Novice, Best Position Paper, and more. Delegates are evaluated holistically by AZMUN staff during the conference.
International Banquet
AZMUN registration includes a full-service, three-course banquet, known as the International Banquet, which takes place during lunch on Day 1.
20 Unique UN-Style Committees
AZMUN offers 20 fully-staffed committees representing various UN and other diplomatic bodies.
We have many different committee formats, topics, and difficulties. There is sure to be a fit for everyone!
Delegate Dance
Day 1 culminates in a Delegate Dance which gives attendees the opportunity to network and spend time together outside of the committee environment. Theme TBA!
